Gina Radke, Chief Executive Officer of Galley Support Innovations, and the new President of the Arkansas Aerospace and Defense Alliance.
The Arkansas Aerospace & Defense Alliance is a group of public and private aerospace companies, government agencies and educational institutions dedicated to growing the aerospace, aviation and defense infrastructure in Arkansas and training a qualified workforce.
The organization began in 2006 as a Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission task force and was organized into the alliance in 2012 by the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/Associated Industries of Arkansas with input from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC).
Radke’s plans as president are to train up a skilled workforce, promote Aerospace and Defense in K-12 and promote growth for the Aerospace and Defense industry, and in turn, the Arkansas economy.
The latter being the main focal point of Arkansas Aerospace and Defense Alliance’s purpose, which Radke plans to uphold by, “Making the Alliance something that adds value to every single company that is under the Arkansas and Aerospace and Defense industry. I want it to bring training opportunities, economic development opportunity, and the possibility to sell more to local Arkansas businesses but also promote Arkansas companies throughout the world.” She plans to bring this to pass by offering more training consortiums and business to business meetings through trade shows and bringing new companies to Arkansas and by connecting more current companies in Arkansas.
